Leila
Leila Lamb didn’t appear to know she was a Sheep when she arrived after spending her first days and weeks being doted on by her loving carer. Despite being a bright and happy Lamb, Leila was born with severely contracted tendons in both of her front legs, a likely consequence of overcrowding in the womb.
Living with a disability has not stopped Leila from approaching each day with joy in her heart. She is the snuggliest and sweetest soul we have ever met, every moment spent in her company is a delight and a privilege. Leila is extremely independent when it comes to other Sheep and finds the most joy and comfort in the company of the humans although we do see her spending time with her paddock mates more and more as she has aged and matured. When the humans pop into her paddock she will always waddle up, nudge us for affection and sit with us for as long as we will stay.
Leila is beautiful in all the ways one can be beautiful and does not have a mean cell in her body. Leila resides in our special needs paddock. We mostly find her hanging out around the hay bale, this little lady loves her food but she lets still lets us know that pats and cuddles are still equally as high on priority list.
