Nova

Just like Alfie and Phoebe, Nova was also born on a transport truck on route to the abbottoir. Sadly Nova is no longer with us, but you bet she had some incredible adventures in her short time on earth.

Nova’s larger than life personality saw many fall in love with her. She loved playing chasey, soccer and often had the Zoomies overcome her, cutting many laps around the house. In true Dorper style, Nova absolutely loved her food and she had the tummy to show for it.

Sadly and unexpectedly we lost Nova at just over 18 months old after she ate a foreign object, a stray piece of red rope that had mysteriously found its way onto the paddock or was unearthed by our girl. We rushed Nova to the vet, and although she made it there and was anaesthetised, she unfortunately passed before surgery began.

This senseless death hit us hard. Our beautiful healthy girl was gone, it felt like the world had stopped spinning. We scoured the property for any other rubbish but found nothing. A horrible accident and a hard pill to swallow, we always felt we were vigilant with such things.

We were blessed to know our precious Nova Bean, she is and will be forever loved and missed.
