Patrick

We first learned of Patrick’s precarious predicament when he was discovered advertised on Gumtree for ‘Free’. Knowing what a dangerous situation precious Paddy was in, the rescue machine ground into action, transport arranged and his safety was secured.

Newly born Patricks earthly story began the day before when he found himself orphaned and alone. Discovered in the Paddock by the farmer far from the flock and freezing cold, a mere hour or 2 more could have meant a very different outcome for our new friend. Patrick was understandably a little out of sorts when he first arrived, Losing his Mum and the terror of being a small baby all alone had taken a toll, but with lots of cuddles and warm milk, we saw him settle into Sanctuary life in no time.

Paddy is a petite boy with a big belly, he loves spending his days at the hay round and can regularly be found standing on the top of it eating with his friend Leif who he grew up along side. Patrick is now a very sweet and adorable member of our main sheep flock.
