Obi

On a cold winter’s day a kind human dedicated to wildlife rescue set out to assist an injured wombat. As she was undertaking her important work, the kind lady looked into the paddock beside her and noticed a sweet newborn Lamb freezing, alone and flanked by 2 equally tiny babies who had already perished due to the intensely cold weather.

After being snuggled in front of his rescuers fire, help was called and Obi was whisked into sanctuary. Despite suffering a terrible bout of pneumonia and a very sore tummy, Obi’s appetite kicked in and he drank down his warm bottles with Joy. With TLC and important medication, Obi grew stronger everyday, it wasn’t long before he was in tip top health.

These days our Jedi friend remains a sweet guy with a cheeky side, he really loves when the humans play games of chasey with him. Obi has the most beautiful big eyes and is handsome beyond measure, I’m sure you can see from the photos. Despite being able bodied, Obi happily resides as part of our special needs Sheep family, he grew up with several other members and they live as kin. He is great friends with Forrest and thoroughly enjoys their brotherly spring time sunbaking sessions.

Obi found his way to Shear Existence via our role as an Initial Carer with Lamb Care Australia. Be sure to follow them on social media if you don’t already
